Philosophy

This site is meant to feel quiet, considered, and a little editorial. The warm paper-like tones, whitespace, and soft-blur transition—with restraint, I hope—are all part of that.

I tried to prioritize the experience above all else. Most of the time, that means finding the right balance between performance and visual polish.

Typography

I wanted the type to feel simple and quietly expressive. Instrument Serif gives the titles a bit of personality, Geist Sans keeps the rest of the site clean and readable, and Berkeley Mono is simply great for code.
